Xsolla faced difficulties in collecting and settling payments in markets with low USD liquidity, such as Egypt and Iraq. Additionally, they needed to offer localized payment methods—including STC Pay and Direct Carrier Billing, which are especially popular among MENA gamers—to better serve their global gaming clients in the region.

Solution

By integrating the Tamatem Plus Payments Platform, Xsolla unlocked access to six new MENA markets, offering over 30 localized payment methods. The solution maintained a seamless user experience, allowing Xsolla to keep their own checkout flow while expanding their reach and improving transaction success rates.
